The White Rose was a resistance movement at the University of Munich who appealed to the consciences of Germans to resist Nazi tyranny. Their story ended tragically and abruptly on February 18, 1943 - but not before they were read across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, inspiring the minds and hearts of their fellow citizens.
